
The interactive and much anticipated Fans’ Edition of Gulder Ultimate Search kicks off, Wednesday September 25, 2013 with the winner taking home a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0L GLX MT.
Like the real-time contestants, competitors of the fans’ edition will do battle with strength, speed, mental alertness and tact.
Gulder says it is giving fans and viewers who are scared by what the contestants go through on the show; terrified of being mired in mud, beaten by rain, bitten by insects, burnt by the scorching sun and smitten by the haze and winds a chance to compete in the reality TV show from their homes.
To qualify, contestants have to buy bottles of Gulder beer and look under the crown corks for unique codes. Each code will then be sent to 20388, along with the consumer’s name, age and state. The consumer will receive will then receive SMSs with questions from clues related to the GUS 10 transmitted on TV. They can also participate via mobile web.
Viewers that correctly answer six questions will get the opportunity to take the Anchor man’s challenge which will be released also as a question on the seventh day by 11pm. Other prizes for the fans’ edition include units of DSTV Walkas, 300 Dual-Sim Android phones, 50 tablet computers and N5 million worth of recharge cards.
