How do I cash expired dividend warrant?

I have many cheques of paid dividends which even expired before arrival at my post office. They have been rejected by my bank. How can I cash them? I also bought shares from seven banks and companies in   2007, but till date the certificates are still with me. What should I do?

And for some time now, Transorp has not appeared  in the stock exchange publications. Has it been merged or bought by a bigger company?

Please, help with information about its present state of affairs.

Finally I want all my dividend paid into my bank account by  electronic payment system. How can this be made possible? (Frm Adodo E.O.)

Take the expired dividend warrant to the registrars of the company, and they will revalidate (renew) them for you. Also tell the registrars that you want to receive direct payment of dividend into your bank account. They will tell you what to do. Transcorp is still in existence and operating.

AIMS Finance wants to shortchange me

I was approached by a staff of AIMS FINANCE M LTD in 2009 to invest in PETDRIL for five years in which the capital and gains will mature for claims. Now without declaring any gain for using my capital for three years plus, they want to refund the initial capital invested. What do I do?

Investors Forum

You can write to the company insisting they pay interest on the investment as they promised. If they would not, you can report them to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). But this would take a long process and time. If you don’t have the patience for long wait, it is advisable you collect your money. It is still better than losing the investment.

There are banks that have children account that accepts  payment of dividend warrant.  We advise that you open such account for your baby and pay in the dividend warrants.
