Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Victor Ochei, has urged public spirited individuals and organisations to establish a synergy with the state government to enhance the overall development of Delta State.

Ochei, while commissioning a six-classroom block at the Umuebu Secondary School, in Ukwuani Local Government Area,  built and donated to the community by Sir Kenny Okolougbo, a commissioner in Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission, DESOPADEC, stressed the need to assist the government in the provision of  amenities as government cannot do it alone.

Earlier in his address, Delta State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Professor Patrick Muoboghare, eulogised Okolougbo, whom he described as a committed philanthropist and patriot, whose contribution to the development of education in Delta State is noteworthy.
