Foreign airlines get 2-week ultimatum on revenue automation

By Daniel Eteghe

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority of Nigeria, NCAA, Tuesday, handed a two-week ultimatum to foreign airlines operating into Nigeria to comply with its revenue automation requirements or faced sanctions.

Director-General NCAA, Dr. Joyce Nkemakolam read the riot act during a meeting with foreign airlines in Lagos.

In a statement by the General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, NCAA boss lamented that some airlines were not complying with the agency’s revenue automation requirements.

He said: “The DG was miffed by the non-compliance of a substantial number of the airlines to NCAA’s revenue automation requirements.” He has, therefore, given the erring ones two weeks to comply or face sanctions, just as he commended some of the foreign airlines that have been complying.”
