Lagos CJ assures judiciary workers on welfare

By Onozure Dania

Lagos State Chief Judge, Justice Ayotunde Phillips, Tuesday promised judiciary workers in the state an improved welfare condition.

Justice Phillips, who was addressing senior members of the judiciary and other workers at the commissioning of the refurbished restaurants at Chief Magistrate Court, Ebute-Metta, and Lagos High Court, Igbosere, said her administration would do the necessary things to ensure that workers’ welfare was not subverted.

The Chief Judge said the provision of the ultra-modern restaurants was in fulfillment of her promise to hold the welfare of judiciary staff paramount.
She thanked the committee in charge of the project, which was headed by Justice Yetunde Idowu.
