Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has announced that the Ije-ododo pipeline that was vandalised, and led to a major fire a few days ago in Lagos, has been repaired, allowing the pumping and supply of premium motor spirit (petrol) to resume.

Acting Group General Manager of the Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, Mr. Fidel Pepple, told newsmen in Abuja: “There is over 32 days sufficiency of petrol. We announce the full and comprehensive restoration of the Ije-ododo pipeline to normalcy.

“The pumping of premium motor spirit (petrol), has resumed in earnest to depots and tank farms in the system 2B, spanning from Atlas-Cove to Ilorin.”

He assured Nigerians that normalcy had been restored in the supply and distribution of petroleum products across the country.
