Chief Michael Ade Ojo, Founder/Director Elizade Motors is a fulfilled man, not happy with the turn of events in the country. Chief Ade Ojo who is also the chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited while speaking at dinner night organised by his company at thier  Civic Centre, Victoria Island, recent to mark the 40 x 1 existence of his company counted his blessings as a successful businessman, family man and grand father but his  frowned at the way things were going on in the country.

While thanking customers, friends and well-wishers, the 74 year old grandfather said “your presence is a mark of respect and friendship and I am here tonight to say thank you for many things.”

“Having thanked God, the next group is our customers for your support and trust over the last 41 years,” Chief Ade Ojo said. Continuing he said, “I thank my employees who are over 1000 in number and I want to revert to God again for providing me with children I can depend on, who have listened to me and taken after me.”

“God has been generous enough to us to  have enabled us to put up an institution that speaks, even after we would have left this planet – The Elizade University” he said.Having made all remarks, the Elizade boss took a sweep at the way things were degenerating in the country with regret.

“When I look at the country we are in, many times I shedding tears. It is my hope that something could be done to change the trend and clear the mess. Many times, I have said that all of us are sinners, it is not only the leaders that are sinners and if you don’t belief, you are sinners, you can’t confess your sins, and be forgiven.”

“At 74, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. What I have seen is like we are engaged in rat race and not knowing where we are going. It is time we should know the danger we are in so that we can begin to do something. I am telling you as a 74 year old man, unless we begin to recognise that we are not in the right place, we are racing into bottomless pit,” he said.

Also speaking at the occasion, the managing director of the company, Mr. Demola Ade Ojo collaborated his fathers remark that what they were doing was the celebration of God’s goodness on the Ade Ojo’s family.

“What we are doing today is not just for our customers but to celebrate the goodness of the Lord on the Ade Ojo family. Four-one years after my father started this business, we can sit down here to celebrate the success of Chief Ade Ojo, Toyota.
