Kidnappers abduct 6-yr-old girl in Enugu
Enugu – Unknown gunmen have abducted a six-year old girl, Miss Kosisochukwu Akilo, from her family house in Enugu. The mother of the girl, Mrs Ebele Akilo, told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Enugu yesterday that the gunmen broke into their house in the early hours of Sunday.
Inflation rises to 12.9%, driven by non-food items
Nigeria’s inflation rate rose to 12.9 per cent in April, year-on-year, driven largely by non-food items and a very price stable comparative month in April last year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed, yesterday.
