YOHAN CABAYE has backed Newcastle to shatter Chelsea and Tottenham’s Champions League dreams.

The Magpies beat Bolton Monday to move level on points with fourth-placed Tottenham.

Spurs suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Norwich and have now won just TWO of their last 10 league matches.

Meanwhile, Chelsea slumped to a 1-1 draw with Fulham, leaving them two points below the Magpies in sixth.

And with Arsenal sitting pretty in third, Alan Pardew’s side stand a great chance of claiming fourth spot.

Cabaye said: “If our mentality stays the same, why not? We have to go match by match.

“The next one is against Stoke and then Wigan, then Chelsea. That’s all we can do.

“But we aren’t in the Champions League places yet. We just have to stay focused on our training.”

The Frenchman, 26, added: “I can’t imagine just how good it would be to hear the Champions League music at this stadium with our fans.”

Reflecting on the win over Bolton, which was decided by a wonder goal from Hatem Ben Arfa and a fine Papiss Demba Cisse effort, Cabaye said: “It was a very important result.

“We knew it would be difficult to play against them but we also knew that one goal would be enough to win the game.”
