Abuja – A Gwagwalada Upper Area Court on Monday remanded a 23-year-old man, Felix Akaso in prison custody for allegedly stealing woods valued N10,000.
The police prosecutor, Insp. Suleiman Haruna, told the court that the accused conspired with one Lazarus, now at large to commit the offence.
He said that the stolen woods belonged to Mr Tunde Daramola, while the items were stolen from a site located at Dagiri Gwagwalada.
Haruna said the accused was caught in the process and that he inflicted injuries on one Usman Abduwahab and Joseph Ugwu, using a knife and wood.
He said that the two injured persons were taken to Gonita Clinic, where they were treated at the cost of N15,000.
The accused, however, denied committing the offence.
The Judge, Mr Babaginda Hassan, ordered that the accused be remanded in prison and adjourned the case to April 25. (NAN)
