Residents of Ikeja were yesterday thrown into pandemonium yesterday after a nylon  bag was discovered at Ikeja round-about, Awolowo way between 6 and 7pm.

An eye witness told Saturday Vanguard that the bag was feared to contain explosives was found by a passer-by who raised an alarm over the discovery making others to run helter skelter.

The situation however saved by the presence of policemen from the anti-bomb squad who immediately took the bag away.  The panic was triggered by the suspicion that members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect have infiltrated the state.
