What you should know about erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction can be described as a man’s inability to meet his conjugal obligations towards his spouse. A vital link in cases of infertility amongst couples, irrespective of material comfort provided for the woman.

Signs and symptoms:

Premature ejaculation, i.e being unable to sustain an erection during coitus, Watery semen. Scanty or no semen (algiosperma, azoosperma) the minimum normal sperm count-20 million-per ml and difficult or no erecting (impotence)

Causes

Psychological (Anxiety, worries, frigid partner), bacteria or viral Infections.

Hyperglycemia (especially in cases of insulin-dependent diabetes M). Sickle cell sufferers, Bad dietary habits, Prostrate enlargement ( BPH).

Treatment/ Management

Detailed investigation as to cause of psychological state, with a view to assuaging same.

Proper tests to determine level or type of infection- e.g. STD’S like Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes, Staphylococcus.

If sickle cell sufferer – treatment regimen specifically for sickle cell disease.

Treat for diabetes or introduce hypoglycemic measure

Professionally monitored dietary programme geared towards nourishing the male reproductive organ.

Erectile dysfunction has forced several ladies, their level of material comfort not withstanding, to seek coital satisfaction outside their matrimonial homes – resulting in infidelity and ultimately divorce.

Introducing so called energy drinks or performance-enhancing drugs only have temporary effect, while creating other problems such as nervousness, priaprism, cardiac disorders.
