Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, national chairmanship candidate, Mr. Ibrahim Birma, has promised to commence early preparations for the 2015 general elections and evolve a party that will be attractive to all.

Speaking during meetings with party stakeholders in Jigawa and Kano states, Birma said the prospects of the party would be helped by the election of a national chairman who would be able to connect with the grassroots.

He said: “I want to be the chairman of PDP that will start early to prepare for victory in the 2015 general elections.

”We are still Africa’s biggest party. But that, for me, is not the destination. I also want PDP to become Africa’s favourite political party.”
