AWKA- SOME youths, mainly students and members of the youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, created a scene at the premises of the High Court complex in Awka Monday, following the continued delay by Anambra State National and Legislative Assemblies’ Election Petition Tribunal to release the certified true copy of its judgment.

According to the youths, release of the copy will enable the member representing Idemili South constituency in the state House of Assembly, Mr. Tony Ezekwelu, proceed on appeal.

The tribunal 11, headed by Justice Yetunde Adesanya, had nullified the election of Ezekwelu who contested the April election on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and declared the candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mr. Ebele Obi, winner and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to issue him with certificate of return.
