TWO suspected armed robbers who specialized in snatching female hand bags at Eleme Junction Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have been arrested by the police. Crime Alert gathered that the suspects who were identified as Aniefiok and Aken, met their waterloo when anti-robbery policemen at Elimgbu police division, raided a notorious criminal hideout at Pipeline area of Rumukurushi, in Port Harcourt .

The Rivers State Police Command spokesman, Ben Ugwuegbulam told Crime Alert that the need to raid Rumukurushi Pipeline was as a result of reports of criminal activities going on in that area, adding: “Fortunately for us, these robbers were apprehended and six stolen handsets were recovered from them and owners of the stolen handsets identified the robbers as those who robbed them.”
