Delectable actress Stella Damasus who resurfaced recently in the movie “Two Brides and a Baby” by Blessing Egbe, after  few years of disappearing from the screen has assured her numerous fans in respect of  her readiness to make them proud as from next year.

The actress, in a recent chat with HVP  also explained why her face has not been regular on screen in recent times.

Indeed, while many thought that she abandoned acting for her pet projects, Stella said  she only took a break from acting to harmonise her other personal undertakings.

“I never abandoned my acting career. In fact, I’m always an actress. It’s just that I took a break to sort out a lot of things. I have finished my television show and season one is already airing on AIT. Also, I set up a foundation where I’m offering free training to up and coming actors and singers. So,  you can see that I needed a enough time to be able to finish these projects.”

Shedding more light on the idea behind these projects, the actress turned singer said it is her own little way of giving back to the society.

According to her, “we have discovered about 40 talented young Nigerians.  We did auditions  in April,  where we discovered these talents. At the moment, we are providing three- months training for them free of charge, with all expenses paid. At the end of the training, they will be expected to produce a short film  which will be aired before their graduation time.”

Speaking further, Stella  who recently delved into music told her fans to expect everything good from me next year. “I’m  working on my new songs that will be released next year. More movies are coming out as well, and by next year, you will be seeing a lot of things from me.”

Stella recently staged a comeback to the screen after she featured in Blessing Egbe’s new movie “Two Brides and a Baby.”In the movie, which most people have described as a “thriller”  the actress played the role of  a bitch  as portrayed in the character of Ama.
