Taking the solo route on “Ghetto” which serves as his forthcoming single, Shank looks up to Sarz once again to provide yet another banging production laced with head bopping drum patterns and signature trumpet arrangements.

And on this one, Shank shows just why he is one of the most prominent artistes in Nigeria as he rides the beat beautifully with his unique and captivating flow and style.

Just who is Shank you may want to know?

Best known for his award_winning hit single “Julie,”  Shank is a popular and commercial Nigerian pop singer, songwriter, producer and recording artist with a unique and eclectic style.

Born in London and raised in Lagos, Shank draws his influences and inspiration from his mentor, the late legendary Fela Kuti and his own father who was a musician and part of Fela’s band.

Signed onto Starville Entertainment in 2008, Shank went on to release his debut single, “Julie” which propelled him to the top of the charts in Nigeria. He soon followed up on the singles with the release of  his 17_track debut album, King Kong, which featured songs with Akon and D’Banj.

A more mature artist now, both his style and his message have evolved and the album promises to be amongst the most popular of 2012.
