LAGOS — The need for judges to recreate and avoid unnecessary influences has been stressed, as the Lagos State Government commissioned a multi-million naira recreation centre for judges and magistrates in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs Adejoke Adefulire, said it was necessary for judges to recreate for effective discharge of their constitutional function.
She promised to ensure adequate provisions for the welfare of judges and magistrates as well as enhance optimum productivity in service delivery.
Chief Judge of the state, Justice Inumidun Akande, admonished them to use the centre effectively, adding that it was a deliberate policy to motivate and provide necessary comfort for judges and magistrates in the state judiciary.
