Bauchi – Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed, has assured the Bauchi State Governor, Malam Isa Yuguda, of Federal Government’s assistance on road projects.

The minister said he had taken steps to ensure that the Federal Ministry of Works and National Assembly assist the state in the completion of the Federal Government-owned Yello/Gubi Road.

Mohammed, an indigene of Bauchi, spoke weekend, at the presentation of an award to  Yuguda by Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Bauchi State Chapter, at NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja.

He described Yuguda as his political mentor, saying that his achievements in life would not have been feasible if the governor had not pressured him to leave the civil service for politics.

He said: ”Everybody in life has a mentor, no matter what happens. I  always remember the rough days I had with Malam Yuguda, but the good days are always supreme and have overtaken all other insinuations, mischief and treachery that came to break our relationship.”
