UYO—TWO construction firms, CCECC, and Camitel Nigeria Limited, operating in Akwa Ibom State, have been rated very high in terms of prompt and speedy delivery of durable and high quality roads, among the many road construction companies working in the state.

Prominent indigenes of the communities where the two firms are operating, ranked the companies high, few days after Governor Godswill Akpabio came down heavily on some of the construction firms for delaying work at their construction sites after being adequately mobilised by the government.

According to Obong Udosen Edem Ekpa, a chief in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, where CCECC had undertaken a road construction before moving to the current site in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area to construct Aka/Nnung Udoe road, CCECC does not need any supervision to do their job by the kind of quality road they delivered in his area.

Obong Ekpa won-dered why the compa-nies that got their job same time as CCECC were yet to finish their job.
