Former Nigeria U20 and Olympic international winger Sone Aluko has begun a week-long trials at Glasgow Rangers.

The Rangers website confirmed Aluko’s trials.

In the summer, Aluko, 22, quit another Scottish side Aberdeen with the aim to moving back to England.

He made 120 appearances and scored 13 goals.

The winger featured for Nigeria at the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt and has also featured for the country’s Olympic team, Dream Team V.
