REDAN, FCT set to resolve Lugbe land crisis

Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) are set to resolve the lingering land allocation crisis rocking the Lugbe axis of the territory.

FCTA had recently declared illegal many on-going building projects along the Airport road and part of Bwari Area council of FCT, noting through several newspaper advertisements that they are without government approval.

But the National President of REDAN, Chief Olabode Afolayan, speaking recently in Abuja, said that REDAN has initiated moves to finding lasting solution to the crisis. He said a seven-man Ad-hoc committee headed by National General Secretary of REDAN, Mr. Goke Odunlami and Mr. Sunday Idiachaba, an Abuja based developer, has been set-up to further liaise with relevant authorities on the matter.

“The situation in Lugbe now deserves a very serious attention from REDAN and even the FCTA before things get out of hand.
