BENIN – Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has commiserated with the Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam on the death of his wife, Hajia Zainab Geidam.

In a condolence letter dated October 26, 2011, Governor Oshiomhole prayed God to grant the departed Hajia Zainab Geidam Aljannah Firdaus.

He said: “I learnt with great shock and grief about the passing on of your beloved wife, Hajia Zainab Ibrahim Geidam. I offer the condolence of the people and Government of Edo State as well as my personal commiseration over her untimely death.

“Our hearts are with Your Excellency and the entire Ibrahim Geidam family at this difficult period. We pray Allah to give you and the family the fortitude to bear the loss of a loving wife and mother.”

“By her passing on, Yobe State has lost a virtuous Muslim woman, who gracefully complemented her husband in his quest to render quality service as governor. Our supplication to Allah SWT is to forgive her sins and grant her Aljannah Firdaus as worthy of a faithful servant.

“Please, do kindly convey our commiseration and prayers to the family and to the good people of Yobe State.”
