Ordinarily those found to have falsified their records ought to have been prosecuted, but in the spirit of the Caring Heart Policy of the present administration in the state, they were asked to proceed on retirement with immediate effect.

“All other teachers who are overdue for retirement due to the mandatory length of service are to proceed on retirement.”

On the re articulation, the Chairman said: “The posting of the principal are within the five zones that make up the state.”

Giving the breakdown, Amure said that 60 principals were affected in Akoko, 58 in Akure ,29 in Owo, 83 in Ondo and 67 in Okitipupa zone.

According to him the redeployment were done after consideration for seniority, competence and the past records of the principals.

These he noted included marital status and geographical locations to avoid family dislocation.
