LAGOS— Suspended vice chairman of Eredo Local Government Development Area, in Lagos State, Mr.  Adesanya Lateef and some of his executive council members have refuted allegations that they have brokered a truce with the chairman of the council, Adelaja Sabiu.

Lateef who led other suspended exco members including the secretary to the local government, Mr. Ladega Sikiru told newsmen that there was no reconciliatory meeting with the chairman where any such decision was taken.

It will be recalled that there have been insinuations in some quarters that the feuding chairman, suspended vice chairman and other aggrieved exco members had decided to sheathe their swords to give peace a chance.
