THE all-new Hyundai Elantra has finally debuted in Nigeria. The Elantra is its fifth generation and has transformed into a segment leader in the last few years.

Now sharpened to perfection, the latest Elantra is everything and more you would expect from Hyundai, Mr. Kiran Parab, marketing director, Hyundai Motors Nigeria told automobile media at the inaugural press launch to unveil the 2012 Elantra which was proceeded by a test drive.

Elantra now comes with a new engine and gearbox whose silky-smooth power delivery is as impressive as its fuel efficiency. For Hyundai, it is a new beginning or so it seems. Thanks to head-turning styling, a fuel-efficient engine and a long list of standard safety features and upscale options that puts the 2012 Hyundai Elantra atop the pick for a compact sedan.
