The International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, Nigeria will hold its convention from 10th-13th October, 2011 in Abuja.

According to a briefing by the Country Vice-President of FIDA Nigeria, Mrs.Ezinwa Okoroafor, the convention which, has as its theme “The Woman-The Nation Builder”, will feature a special lecture in honour of Justice Mary Peter-Odili, JSC, the 3rd female appointee to the Supreme Court of Nigeria, under the distinguished chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

The pre-convention conference is precursor to the 34th FIDA international biennial convention scheduled to hold in Lagos from 20th-25th November, 2011, with the theme, “Women Through The Ages And Sustainable Empowerment.”
