The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has expressed the appreciation of the FCT Administration and residents of the Federal Capital Territory to President Goodluck Jonathan over the recent reinforcement of CCTV installations for enhanced security surveillance of the nation’s capital.

The Minister spoke while receiving the Sokoto State governor, Alhaji Aliyu Magatakarda Wammakko, at his Area 11, Garki District office in Abuja. He expressed joy that the monitoring devices would go a long way in complementing other security communication gadgets already in use within the FCT.

In a release by Nosike Ogbuenyi, the Minister’s Special Assistant on Media, Senator Mohammed stated that FCT’s ever rising population has brought about huge challenges for government, especially in the area of security of lives and property.
