Embattled Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi  has been captured.

 According to Mahmoud Shamman, NTC Information minister, in an interview with CNN, said , althought the information is not confirmed yet, ” ‘a  big fish’ has been captured.”

He said they are expecting a statement from Benghazi.

However, despite wild jubilation on the streets of Tripoli  over the fall of Sirte,  there are confliting reports out of Libya.  While Libya State TV reports that Gaddaffi was captutred, evacuated but was pronounced dead on arrival at Misrata, other reports say he was only wounded and is stiil alive.
