Edo State chieftain of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Chief Osamudiamen Obamwonyi, Tuesday, berated former member representing the state on the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen and former Editor-in-Chief of Insider Magazine, Mr. Osa Director, over their comments against Governor Adams Oshiomhole on the provi-sion of infrastructures in the state.
He said: “They are jobless politicians seeking relevance.”
Obamwonyi, in his reaction to media reports by Iduoriyekemwen and Director, urged Edo people to discountenance the comments “by these jobless politicians, who cannot manage their hunger and poverty and had resorted to name-calling and unnecessary criticism of the developmental efforts of Governor Oshiomhole for political rehabilitation.”
“I want Edo people to recall when Director emerged from the blues to seek for the Edo South Senatorial ticket under ACN and for which he solicited the assistance of the Governor to foist him on the people. Being unpopular, he never surfaced at the primaries but came back asking for a House of Representatives ticket with the assumption that it could be earned on a platter of gold.
“I am not sure if Director knows that Oshiomhole was not the owner of the party and cannot act like Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, godfather.”
