Terry G the singer-producer-performer means different thing to different people.. Now, he’s soon going to be a husband to someone…and he’s kicked off the process already.

According to an online blog, Nigerian Entertainment Today gathered, reliably, that Terry, whose real names are Gabriel Amanyi and his long time partner Mimi are taking their relationship further, after years of dating.

Terry we’re told, has already overhauled his Lagos home (a three-bedroom apartment in Iju), putting everything in place for the comfort of his wife-to-be.

And last month, the pair traveled to Benin with few friends and family members, for a traditional marriage ceremony that caught Terry’s friends by surprise.

Terry’s bride Mimi is a Lagos-based ‘big girl’ (exact words of those who know her) whose mom lives in Benin. We’re told her father is late. She’s the couple’s only child and, according to our findings, the main beneficiary of their wealth.

Although Terry’s background is different- he’s by no means a gold-digger. The 25 year-old has worked his way to where he’s at; and he’s earned enough to belong to the millionaires’ club. He told friends last year he prefers his partner even after a couple of on-and-offs. One key advantage: she doesn’t play in the entertainment field and is away from all the ‘magic and the madness’ that come with her hubby’s job.

‘She’s a great girl. She was there with him and for him when he had that accident. I believe they’ll make a great couple. I think she’s the stability that Gabriel needs‘, a source, who claims the pair already have both parents’ blessings, tells us.

Close source to Terry’s management company, confirmed that the singer indeed has a fiancée. ‘Yes, his fiancées name is Mimi and we are hoping they get married soon‘, he revealed ina telephone interview but played down the news of Terry’s traditional marriage saying that the singer only travelled to Benin to shoot two videos.

Terry G emerged in the music scene back in 2008 and released his debut ‘Free Me‘ the following year. After a series of features and production for artistes, he rose to fame with the release of the hit single ‘Free madness’ off the ‘Ginjah ur swaggah season 1? album.

He recently released his third album ‘Terry Gzuz‘ under his TGP Entertainment label.
