For those of you wondering where Ijoba Orun crooner Lara George has been these past few weeks, well now you know. The ebony skinned mother of one has been away to the United States on a music tour and has only just returned.

Lara we gathered, had hosted shows in Houston, Baltimore, Chicago, and Atlanta which had gone on for six weeks.

Shortly before her scheduled trip, Lara had in an interview with this writer disclosed that the trip was an aggressive attempt to push her career on to the next level.

She had said “I’m trying to get the American people to familiarize themselves with my music and hopefully widen my audience a bit.

After my tour I’d be definitely going back to the studios to start on new set of songs but I’ll leave the rest of the details for now as a surprise.”

With the tour behind her now, Lara says she will also be concentrating on fully promoting her second album titled Lara.

Lara George had jumped into the music scene back in the days when she appeared with the group Kush and they recorded Lets live together. Her last album titled Koma Si was released under Soforte entertainment, a company run by her husband, Gbenga George.
