Benue State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has slated Friday, August 19, 2011 for ruling on the preliminary objection raised by Governor Gabriel Suswam against the petition filed by Prof. Steve Ugbah, governorship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, for lack of merit.

All Africa Games: Air Nigeria to airlift Team Nigeria
The National Sports Commission (NSC) has struck a deal with Air Nigeria to airlift the Nigerian contingent to the 10th All Africa Games in Maputo which begins on September 3. The Memorandum of Understanding, MOU, was signed between the airline management and the NSC recently.
