Minna-Niger State Government has banned public officials in the state from using tinted glasses on their vehicles.
This, the government said was part of the steps towards curbing violence and other crimes in the state.
In a statement, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Malam Danladi Ndayebo, said the measure was in conformity with Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu’s commitment to openness, due diligence and transparency in governance.
Ndayebo said: ‘’The ban affects all categories of government officials,’’ stressing that no government official, either elected or appointed was exempted.
