Nigeria’s Super Falcons will tomorrow play Cameroon in the first leg of the London 2012 Olympic final round qualifying match against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
The match holds at the Abuja National stadium.
Falcons need a good home victory against the Cameroonians, to guarantee their hopes of booking their place in the football event of the Olympics Games as the latter would in a fortnight, play host to the Nigerians, desirous of also making it to the London showpiece event.
Only one team will represent Africa at the Games. Nigeria were originally scheduled to play Equatorial Guinea In the final round of games before the latter were banned by CAF for fielding ineligible players in a previous game.
Meanwhile, Super Falcons’ Technical Assistant, Thomas Obliers expects a big Nigerian win against the Cameroonians.
But the German has cautioned fans from putting the players under any pressure during the game.
“I look forward to a big margin win against Cameroon, ,say three to four goals in our favour so that when we go to Cameroon, it will be easy for us”
