ABAKALIKI – EBONYI State Government said, weekend, that it has approved N500 million for the renovation of primary and secondary schools across the state.
The renovation, according to the government, was to give schools in the state a facelift and create conducive teaching and learning and environment.
Commissioner for Education, Mr. Ndubuisi Chibueze-Agbo said this during an inspection tour of some schools under renovation.
Agbo said his administration would improve the standard of education in the state, adding that although the exercise would gulp lots of funds from the government, no amount of investment in the education sector was a waste.
