UGHELLI- ARCH-DEACON of the Uwheru Archdeaconry, Ven. Gospel Umukoro, Sunday, expressed worry over the poor state of the East-West Road, urging President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure the completion of the road before the end of his tenure in 2015.
The clergy said President Jonathan was not voted into power to amend the Constitution but to develop the country and its people. Umukoro, who spoke during a thanksgiving service for Mr. Sam Mariere at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Evwreni, Delta State, urged the President to concern himself with governance for the benefits of the electorate.
The cleric asked governors who refused to pay the N18,000 minimum wage to resign, charging Nigerian leaders to work hard for the survival of Nigerians.
