Bracket drops new album …refutes fight with P-Square

The singing duo that makes up the group Bracket, has announced September 5th as the official album release date for their second outing titled Cupid Stories.

The long anticipated album has been in the works for more than year now with production imput from some of the biggest producers and engineers around.

The album features prominent artistes like Tuface, P-Square, Banky W, Flavour and others. Two lead singles, Me and You and The Kiss Song (Muah muah) and the accompanying videos have been enjoying massive reviews and criticism in the media in the past three months.

The fascinating aspect of the entire procedure is the amalgamation of three marketers and distributors; T Joe, Abu Ventures and Obyno to market and distribute this album.

Complex as the marketing deal may appear, a concession has been reached, signed and sealed by all parties involved.

Its is widely believed that this new deal will break all distribution barriers and create new markets for Bracket’s music by reaching out to a wider array of audiences.

Meanwhile the duo has described as unfounded rumours that there was a breach in the relationship they enjoy with twin sensation P-Square. “There is no iota of truth in the story as all is well between P-Square and Bracket and it will remain so for a long time,” the duo was quoted saying.

The performance of Bracket at the album launch of P-Square according to Onucheyo Nasir, the media manager of the Bracket “is enough indication that the relationship remains as cordial as ever.”
