KANO—Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has demanded an apology from the paramount ruler of Nupe Kingdom, Brig Gen Yahaya Abubakar Kosudun over an alleged assault on one of their titled chiefs, Chief Bonaventure Kalu by his “dogaris’’ (aides) along the Abuja–Kaduna federal highway penultimate week.

Addressing newsmen yesterday, its Kano State Chairman, Chief Tobias Idika described the alleged flogging of Chief Kalu by his palace guards as a “serious affront on Igbo nation and its cherished values.’’

Chief Idika who expressed shock over the ‘’show of shame’’  enjoined those on the position of authority to be role models, and to jettison action or inaction that was capable of bringing their offices to disrepute”.
