LAGOS – Nigerian Breweries has won the 2011 Heineken Global HR Star Award for Operational Excellence. The award was presented to the firm  by Mr. Jean Francois van Boxmeer, Chairman, Heineken Executive Board, at the 2011 Global Human Resource conference in London.

The annual award is presented to Heineken operational companies who have had an innovation or process that has been successfully implemented company wide with a measurable impact on processes.

HR Portal, Nigerian Breweries entry, was adjudged best among 48 entries under the Operational Excellence category as a creative, innovative solution and a one-stop shop for managing human resource transactional processes in the Heineken Operational Company.
