SYDNEY (AFP) – Australian Daniel Geale said Friday he will stage the first defence of his IBF middleweight world title against American Eromosele Albert in Hobart in August.

Geale will fight Nigerian-born America-based Albert at Hobart’s Derwent Entertainment Centre on August 31.

Geale took the title from Germany’s Sebastian Sylvester in Germany last May in a split decision.
