Over 50 indigent students in tertiary schools in Cross River State have benefited from the educational endowment fund floated by the General Overseer of Goldcity Gospel Centre Calabar, Apostle Trinity Ogar.

The beneficiaries of the endowment fund have received financial assistance amounting to about N.4 million to assist them in their educational pursuit.

Presenting the bursary awards to the beneficiaries after the ordination of 27 members of the church as reverends, pastors, elders, ministers, deacons and deaconesses, Apostle Ogar explained that apart from providing the spiritual needs of the people, there was also the need to provide for their material needs.

He said the bursary award was meant to supplement what parents and guardians give their children and implored the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money.
