WARRI – THE traditional ruler of Osifo community, Odion-Ologbo Joe Agbawe, and the council of elders in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, have assured Agip Nigeria Limited of a trouble-free working environment, even as it disowned those threatening the company.

They added that the group of persons who threatened  Agip operations do not occupy any position in the community’s ruling body and were not mandated to speak on behalf of Osifo community. The leaders claimed that the persons were impersonators who   should not be given any attention.

In a statement, yesterday, the traditional ruler and the council of elders said: “Agip and the general public should note that Osifo as a community has no plan, neither does it have any  intention to disrupt Agip’s operations.”BY emma arubi
