2015: Delta ACN charges members

ASABA— DELTA State chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has advised members to remain focused and work towards moving the party to victory in the state by 2015.

This came as the party members in Delta North Senatorial district passed a vote of confidence on the new state Deputy Chairman of the party, Chief Ngozi Emeni.

ACN, in a statement by the state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Frank Eghomien, at the end of a meeting at Obiaruku, lauded Emeni’s sterling qualities.

The statement said, “members of the party in the district having appraised the on-going restructuring of the party in the zone, following the lapses observed during the April 2011 general elections, however, expressed satisfaction, that capable hands had been put in place at the ward and local government area levels of the ACN in Delta North.”

According to the statement, members of ACN in the district advised the “new state Deputy Chairman of the party to collaborate with the state chairman, Chief Adolo Okotie-Eboh and the leaderships of the party in the three senatorial districts in the state in order to move the party to the promised land in 2015.”

It added “Chief Emeni briefed members of the party on his joint visit with the state chairman, Chief Okotie-Eboh to the national leadership of the party, where he (Emeni) told them (members of the party) that the national leadership expressed confidence in and satisfaction with the leadership of the party in Delta State.”
