Senator David Mark and Ike Ekweremadu have emerged again as the Senate President and Deputy Senate President of the Seventh National Assembly which is been inaugurated today. (As at press time)
Senator David Mark, and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu led the Sixth Senate which came to an end last week.
Meanwhile, reports have it that the National Assembly was today cordoned off, restricting movement to the complex as the 109 and 360 elected senators and members of the House of Representatives were been sworn in commencing the inauguration of the 7th National Assembly.
Canopies were erected at the open car park for guests to avoid congestion of the chambers of the National Assembly.
