Asaba— DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has appointed a former commissioner in the state as the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.

He is Mr Ovuozourie Macaulay,  according to a statement  in Asaba, yesterday,  by the Assistant Director of Information, Ministry of Information, Mr. Dona Obuseh.

Macaulay was a one-time Chairman of the state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, and later Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, before he was appointed commissioner.
