OWERRI – All former political office holders who served during the immediate past administration of Chief Ikedi Ohakim in Imo State have been ordered to surrender all government properties in their possession or face the full weight of the law.

According to a government directive by the Principal Secretary to Governor Rochas Okorocha, Dr. Paschal Obi, government ordered that all the official vehicles used by the appointees must be returned to the Director, State Security Services, SSS, Imo State Command.

Part of the release read: “I am directed to request all the commissioners and political appointees who served under the previous administration of Mr. Ikedi Ohakim to return all the official vehicles assigned to them to the Director, State Security Services, SSS, within 48 hours from today, June 4, 2011.”
