Blessing Egbe stages a comeback

Top model, film producer and currently mother of two, Blessing Effiom Egbe has just returned from location where she had gone to work on a script that many movie bluffs believe would blow the minds of film lovers when released.

The new film “ Two Brides and a Baby” which was directed by Teco Benson and stars likes of Stella Damasus, Kalu Ikeagwu and many other Nollywood stars who worked hard to interpret the script which was shot at locations in Lagos . The movie is being produced by her company B Concepts Network Productions, which she said is strictly for the cinemas as well as major film festivals.

Blessing who produced the “Rival” together with Omoni Oboli, a movie that featured Desmond Elliot, Kate Henshaw Nuttal, Patricia Leon amongst other super actors and directed by Aquilla Njamah went into marriage to raise her own family.Being a bit free now, she has staged a comeback to her first love-acting and producing movies.

Cross River state born Effiom made a name for herself, junketing major catwalks and television channels across the world as she was promoting major products and services in places like New York, South Africa, United Kingdom, France and other countries as a super model before returning to Nigeria to pitch her tent in the movie industry.

She wrote, produced and featured in some movies including “African Queen”, “Before the vow,” “After the vow” and others. “Disclosures”, the TV serial which she wrote is still making impact in the lives of television viewers across Africa.

Speaking on movie, Blessing said “Two brides and a Baby” is a very interesting twist of a tale that would add a different spice to our films.”
