Super Eagles Team B captain, Chibuzo Okonkwo and midfielder, Stanley Okoronkwo are doubts for Thursday’s semi final clash in the WAFU tournament in Abeokuta.

Okonkwo received a knock during Eagles’ first match against the Lone Stars of Liberia but was used in the second match which the Eagles defeated the Menas of Niger 4_0 on Saturday.

Their injury was aggravated in the second match as both players could not finish the match.
Okoronkwo’s  injury occurred during the Niger match. Okonkwo could not come out for the second half of the match against Niger

Coach Samson Siasia alluded to this when in a post training chat with Sports Vanguard Tuesday when he said his team had been hit by injuries and admitted that two of his first team players will not be available for the semi final match.

The two players were expected to undertake a scan to ascertain the extent of the injuries. The result was still being expected.
