KANO-The Governor-elect of Kano State, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has constituted a 23-man transition committee for the smooth transition of power from the outgoing Ibrahim Shekarau administration in the state.

Kwankwaso also constituted a sub-committee for all the government ministries and parastatals under the Transition committee for effective take-off of his administration from May 29.

Meanwhile, the defeated candidates of the Congress for Progressive Change, and the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in the just-concluded gubernatorial election in Kano State, General Lawan Jafaru Isa and Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo respectively have congratulated the governor-elect, , over his electoral success. They visited Kwankwaso in his Gandu Albasa residence separately, weekend, to pledge support for his incoming administration.
